KOTA KINABALU: The Sabah government has allowed all passenger boats and ferries from Labuan to Menumbok on the mainland to resume operations at full capacity with immediate effect.

In a statement on Monday , Chief Minister Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal said the state's decision followed the lead of the Federal Government on June 11.

He said that all ferry and boat operators must observe the standard operating procedure set by the Sabah Health Department to check on the spread of Covid-19. He said permission to operate at full capacity must also be in accordance with the licence or registration certificates.
