Kumpulan pertama penyokong bekas timbalan presiden PKR Mohamed Azmin Ali yang tiba di rumah Muhyiddin, termasuklah Ali Biju dan Willie Mongin.Lima minit selepas itu, Zuraida Kamaruddin; bekas menteri luar, Saifuddin Abdullah dan ahli Parlimen Bandar Tun Razak, Kamaruddin Jaafar tiba dan mereka juga tidak berkata apa-apa kepada media.Bagaimanapun tiada kelibat Azmin dilihat memasuki rumah Muhyiddin.
Sebelum ini, Mahathir berkata, beliau bersedia memimpin semula kerajaan Pakatan Harapan berikutan pertemuan dengan pemimpin gabungan politik itu pagi ini.“Justeru saya bersedia menjadi calon perdana menteri. Keputusan ini akan dikemukakan kepada Yang di-Pertuan Agong,” katanya dalam satu kenyataan.
