Menurut Naib Pengerusi DAP itu, Streram mempunyai peluang yang baik kerana DUN Rantau mempunyai kira-kira 28 peratus pengundi India dan mereka perlu mengundi Streram bagi memastikan kehidupan mereka menjadi lebih baik.
“Kita kaum yang sama, darah yang sama. Jadi, apa akan terjadi kalau kita tidak beri sokongan untuk kaum kita sendiri?” katanya dalam sebuah video yang tular dalam media sosial hari ini. Dalam video tersebut, Kula Segaran yang bercakap dalam bahasa Tamil turut beberapa kali membangkitkan isu penyelewengan oleh Barisan Nasional dan calonnya, Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan termasuk isu pembelian rumah bernilai RM10 juta di luar negara beberapa tahun lalu.
