KUALA LUMPUR: Kuala Terengganu MP Datuk Ahmad Amzad Hashim is crying foul over Mohd Sany Hamzan’s disparaging remarks over the annulment of the 15th General Elections (GE15) results for his seat.

Ahmad Amzad said Mohd Sany had made the “insulting remarks” during the 12th Malaysia Plan mid-term-review debate on Wednesday , adding that the clip of the incident has gone viral.Mohd Sany claimed the election court had nullified the GE15 results for the Kuala Terengganu seat after finding an element of corruption and money politics, and that Perikatan had re-nominated the same candidate during the by-election.

“This is an insult to the court’s judgement and to me as an elected representative for Kuala Terengganu,” he said in the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday .
