PETALING JAYA: Three-term Kuala Kubu Baharu assemblyman Lee Kee Hiong passed away on Thursday morning due to an illness.Her DAP comrade Kota Melaka MP Khoo Poay Tiong shared the sad news and expressed his condolences before he proceeded to raise his question during Question Time at the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday .
Selangor Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Amiruddin Shari said, in a statement, that Lee's passing was a big loss. "She will be missed, especially by Kuala Kubu Baharu residents whom she had represented and served since 2013," he said in the statement.A message containing information on Lee's death was also shared among political circles.
It read,"Dear all, our dear comrade Lee Kee Hiong, ADUN Kuala Kubu Baharu has passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones and party comrades. "May her soul rest in eternal peace.
