Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor didakwa menerima RM1 juta daripada ahli perniagaan, Tan Eng Boon pada 27 Disember 2013.

Menerusi afidavit yang diserahkan kepada mahkamah untuk menyokong permohonan itu, Tengku Adnan mendakwa beliau tidak akan mendapat perbicaraan adil kerana Nazlan tahu fakta kesnya selepas menjatuhkan hukuman kepada seorang lagi tertuduh dalam kes itu yang juga ahli perniagaan, Tan Eng Boon yang mengaku bersalah kerana memberi rasuah pada Selasa lalu.

Eng Boon, 70, mengaku bersalah atas pertuduhan pindaan di bawah Seksyen 165 Kanun Keseksaan yang membawa hukuman penjara 2 tahun atau denda atau kedua-duanya sekali, jika sabit kesalahan. Eng Boon yang merupakan pengarah sebuah syarikat pemaju hartanah, didakwa memberi rasuah RM1 juta kepada Ku Nan menerusi cek Public Bank milik Pekan Nenas Industries Sdn Bhd.

The judiciary must do something about this delay tactics. Any objections ought to have been done b4 trial begins. If the judge does not recuse himself then hard luck to the accused.
