LHDN had filed a lawsuit against Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor to recover RM57.2 million in tax arrears from 2012 to 2017.
This means the RM40.3 million stated in the order is nearly RM17 million less than the sum originally sought by LHDN. It states that the RM40.3 million in assessments, including penalties, forms the settlement on the tax sought by LHDN.
