KUALA LUMPUR: Umno veteran Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah has left Istana Negara after an audience with the Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah.It is believed that during the audience with Sultan Abdullah, he was expected to either declare his support for Anwar Ibrahim or reject the opposition leader, who is seeking to be the new prime minister.
The opposition leader arrived at Istana Negara at 10.25am and left at 11.30am, to shouts of “Reformasi” by supporters gathered near the palace gates. He did not speak to the media.
