Hong Kong singer and actor Stephanie Lai Ming-sze, who had several popular Cantopop hits in the 1990s, passed away today (March 28) at the age of 58, according to Chinese media reports.

His successful conquest was depicted in a video and four photographs posted on his Instagram account @m.m.minki, including one where he posed behind a signboard that reads"Kinabalu Park World Heritage ."

Mount Kinabalu, which derives its name from the Kadazandusun word"Aki Nabalu" meaning"the revered place of the dead", is the highest peak in Borneo, and also the highest mountain between the Himalayas and New Guinea. As of 6.20pm, the social media post of the photograph had recorded 23,804 likes and 483 comments, while the video, captioned"- MT.KINABALU" showing his arrival at the Kota Kinabalu International Airport and journey scaling the mountain, had garnered 33,818 likes and 1,090 comments.

Among the comments, netizens welcomed Lee to Sabah, Malaysia, while some invited him to also explore the mountains in Indonesia. @iz.zieqa wrote"xde sape ke kenal dy ni time hiking? OMG, kot ak tu selfie dgn dy sedas haahaa" while @septiantdw commented"Oppa. you did it well", while @meilindaay -"Try the Indonesia mountains. Rinjani, Tambora, Semeru."
