THE parcel tax will commence on January 1 in Kuala Lumpur, covering homeowners from the B40 group, Federal Territories Minister Khalid Abdul Samad said today. According to Khalid, the tax will be a flat rate of RM15 and RM20 for leasehold and freehold properties respectively.
