KL shares show early weakness

KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 — Shares on Bursa Malaysia traded lower in early session, echoing the weaker overnight performance of Wall Street.It, however, opened 0.17 of-a-point higher at 1,642.9 this morning.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average declined 0.1 per cent to 25,625.59, while the S&P 500 index was 0.5 per cent lower at 2,805.37. The FBM Emas Index decreased 6.11 points to 11,525.35, the FBMT 100 Index eased 7.37 points to 11,378.17 and the FBM Emas Shariah Index trimmed 14.92 points to 11,641.54.
