Two armed forces personnel stand guard in front of a barbed wire barricade on Jalan Pudu, last night.
A resident who lives there told FMT that army trucks entered the area around 11pm, with a number of soldiers seen on the streets.Contacted by FMT, Dang Wangi police confirmed that the area has come under SEMCO. The Pudu area has a large concentration of refugees and undocumented migrants including from Myanmar.A source told FMT that there has been an increase in Covid-19 involving migrants in the vicinity.
