IPOH: Muslims in the country should refrain from boycotting establishments such as KK Super Mart because the act departs from the concept of Islamic jurisprudence, said Perak Mufti Datuk Seri Wan Zahidi Wan Teh .
"Hence, based on Islamic jurisprudence, accusations of insulting Islam against KK Super Mart are unproven," Wan Zahidi added. Meanwhile, Perlis Mufti Prof Dr Mohd Asri Zainul Abidin, said while Muslim consumers can choose to refrain from buying the goods and services of certain brands amid the Gaza conflict, they must not vandalise the property of those companies.
