The Science, Innovation and Technology Minister who shared Our World in Data’s vaccination statistics on his social media, pointed out that Malaysia’s daily vaccination rate per 100 people had reached 0.96 on July 9, exceeding the United Kingdom’s highest rate of 0.89 which was recorded on March 19.According to Our World in Data, Malaysia’s daily Covid-19 vaccination rate per 100 people has also been ranked second after Singapore among Asean countries.
The official data of Our World In Data is handled by Oxford Martin School, the University of Oxford and Global Change Data Lab. The country will be receiving 14.4 million doses of Covid-19 vaccines this month, which will help further ramp up the National Immunisation Programme.
Focus must be on bettering facilities at hospitals to reduce number of deaths. You can bring the vaccines to the people but you must not force or victimize people about the vaccine because you still cannot guarantee it is 100% safe.Die no take vac or die after vac, God bless you

Surely daily rate low in UK, most of them vaccinated. Later it wud be zero bcos all vaccinated. Then can say we 100% daily, they zero. Ennade...ayyooo.

It’s great news that we are ramping up the vaccination rate.. but there are so many viral news circulating on whatsapps about ‘air jab’ etc. Attend to that as well and do know this is not a competition.
Stop compared with other. focus your own backyard. We more concern is how fast we can get the vaccine, not Malaysia how fast compared to others. Study so much but never learn about Rakyat feelings.
We have just achieved 10% of our population fully vaccinated. We have another 70% to go to reach herd immunity. Meanwhile our daily new cases, death rate and icu patients are on the rise, this just goes to show that the vaccinations have come a little too late and too slow.

Yes we've gotten more aggressive in our daily vaccination initiative but we're still below 10% total vacc rate. To compare to the UK is ludicrous; is like saying 'look we're really fast in the 2nd leg of a 4X100m race. In reality, UK is already at 52% total vaccination rate!
Vaccination rate surpassed 101% is one thing, infected covid cases increasing since Sep 2020 until present is another thing, u know tat right!
But how come positive cases still high and climbing

England’s schools were first to reopen under the 4 steps roadmap. Despite high vaccination rate, Msia still stuck in a perennial lockdown. Schools only set to open in Phase 3 of NRP.
