“Lima calon menghantar borang pada 15 Jun dan mereka adalah Siti Zaharah, Dr. Naharuddin, Dr. S. Radha Krishnan, Keng Chuan dan Khairy. Borang terakhir diterima pada pukul 9.38 malam. Sebelum ini, status Khairy menjadi tanda tanya selepas difahamkan borang pencalonannya dihantar pada pukul 11.30 malam 15 Jun bersama Timbalan Presiden MPM, John Ng, sedangkan tarikh akhir yang tertera di borang pencalonan adalah pada pukul 11.59 malam, 14 Jun.
Lapan pencalonan bagi jawatan Naib Presiden iaitu Hadfizah Abd Khafidz , K M Rajendran , Muhd Iqbal Sulaiman , Dr Ang Kean Koo , Dr Naharuddin Hashim , Mejar Azhari Abdullah .
