Kit Siang urges govt to follow South Korea’s ‘aggressive’ mass testing model

Saturday, 04 Apr 2020 10:58 AM MYTLim Kit Siang says the Malaysian government should emulate South Korea’s aggressive approach to identify and isolate those positive of the virus. — Picture by Shafwan Zaidon

He noted how South Korea has to date conducted more than 300,000 tests on its people, with a capacity of 15,000 tests being done a day. Lim explained that preventive measures, if enforced early, can prove to be very effective, and then referred to Nepal, whose government imposed a full lockdown after only its second confirmed case.

His third recommendation was a suggestion that the administration, emulating the German government, introduce a salary subsidy scheme for companies affected economically.

The picture shows NO social distancing of at least 1 metre at all. many seems to be hugging LKS.

Impose a total export ban on medical test kits & medical equipments esp the Penang-based Corona virus testing kits, face masks etc. DrAdhamBaba DGHisham KKMPutrajaya AzminAli MuhyiddinYassin KDNPUTRAJAYA MKNJPM

Its ok. As a boss he has to say something. We understand. Its just for relevancy and existence. PN keep continuing doing your good job.

Now he is talking. Everybody else behind him is making noise. This party was born only to make noise and nothing else.

KR has a lot of money and domestic manufacturing capabilities. MY rely on test kits that are manufactured overseas and they are limited so they are already doing their best. I'd say a job well done already to our gov and the frontliners 👏🏼

While DAP in govt very quiet, now back to opposition again very noisy.

Just StayHome &shut up!!!

Govt should explore possibility of holding emergency ‘virtual’ Parliament — Lim Kit Siang | Malay MailAPRIL 3 — The Malaysian Parliament should explore the possibility of holding an emergency 'virtual' Parliament as it is imperative that Malaysia adopts a “whatever it takes” strategy not only to win the Covid-19 war but to survive the post-coronavirus pandemic economics. In the past 24 hours,... As long as they don’t use Zoom. I dont see what Muhyiddin has to be scared about. After all he is tok abah now, aligned w Najib who has amazing social media presence b was 'the reason' why BN won 5 by elections and is apparently doing amazing w his four senior ministers and a rm250b stimulus package. After seeing how PH ministers handled themselves Feb 2020, I would be suspect. But they don't put us in global odd news section like Rina has singlehandedly done it. She did nothing as PH minister and then completely became a doraemon PN figure. Now we know how she kept her job
