King, Queen waive emoluments for 6 months in Covid-19 fight

Yang di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah and Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah wil waive their emoluments for six months in solidarity with the nation’s fight against the pandemic. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 31, 2020.

YANG di-Pertuan Agong Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah will waive six months in his emoluments, from March to August in solidarity with the nation’s fight against the Covid-19 pandemic. Raja Permaisuri Agong Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah will also do the same, the palace said in a statement today.
