The Parti Amanah Negara communications director said the PH government had received the mandate from the people to govern the country in the 14th General Election.
“PH governed the country based on the people’s mandate. If there are not enough seats, then let the people decide which government they want. In other words, do not betray the people. “For now, I will continue to do my duties until the situation is clearer, as to whether the PH government remains or changes,” said Khalid, who is also the federal territories minister.Present were Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Aminuddin Harun.
Khalid voiced his hope that Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim would be appointed as Malaysia’s 8th prime minister following Dr Mahathir’s resignation. “To me, there is no issue of a backdoor government. The best way is to dissolve Parliament. Let the people decide. The people should not worry, the government is still functioning,” he said.
