KUALA LUMPUR: Keuntungan bersih Petroliam Nasional Bhd merosot hampir separuh kepada RM7.42 bilion dalam suku ketiga berakhir 30 Sept lalu daripada RM14.34 bilion pada tempoh sama tahun lepas.
“Bagaimanapun, ini sebahagiannya diimbangi kesan penurunan ringgit berbanding kadar tukaran dolar AS,” kata syarikat minyak negara itu. “Segmen itu didorong prospek harga lebih konservatif dan sebahagiannya diimbangi perbelanjaan cukai rendah,” kata syarikat itu sambil menambah EBITDA merosot 7% kepada RM73.5 bilion bagi tempoh kumulatif berakhir pada 30 Sept lalu.
