Kerajaan Negeri Sarawak mengambil pendekatan bersistematik dalam menguruskan kewangan negeri., kata Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg

Premier Sarawak, Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg berkata, untuk tujuan itu Sarawak mengambil langkah menubuhkan Dana Kekayaan Berdaulat Sarawak.“Sebab itu kita tubuhkan Dana Kekayaan Daulat. Dari segi pendapatan, ada duit simpanan kita,” tegas ya.

Beliau berkata demikian ketika berucap di Majlis Rumah Tebuka Tahun Baharu Cina SUPP Bintulu Bersama Premier Sarawak di sini hari ini. Dalam pada itu, Abang Johari turut beri jaminan dan yakin kejayaan Sarawak dalam mengurus pendapatan dan langkah pembangunan kini mendapat perhatian dunia. “Kestabilan kepimpinan menjadikan Sarawak lebih berjaya berbanding negeri lain sekaligus memudahkan kerajaan Gabungan Parti Sarawak lebih memfokuskan usaha pembangunan.

“Malam tadi delegasi dari Kesatuan Eropah telah berjumpa dengan saya. Tujuan mereka adalah untuk melihat sendiri polisi ekonomi kita.Pada majlis yang sama Premier Sarawak telah meluluskan permohonan projek dewan serbaguna untuk belia dan warga emas Bintulu dengan peruntukan berjumlah RM25 juta dan RM1.5 juta lagi untuk projek pembinaan surau di Sekolah Kebangsaan Assyakirin. –UTUSAN
