“Kertas siasatan ini pun masih lagi dengan kami setelah diberikan oleh pihak beliau, kita akan menunggu arahan lanjut kemudian untuk dibuat keputusan,” katanya dalam sidang akhbar selepas Istiadat Konvokesyen MACC Law Enforcement Accredited Programme di Pusat Konvensyen Antarabangsa Putrajaya di sini semalam.

Rural students shine at national speech contest | Daily Express Online - Sabah's Leading News PortalMost of the students who earned a placing in the 2022 State-level National Speech Competition hailed from schools outside Kota Kinabalu, which signifies that rural students are not falling behind in achievements compared to urban students.  Floriana Mikayla Franky from SJKC Siew Ching, Lahad Datu emerged champion in the primary school category, while Jurita Jaclyn Ning Moktar from SJKC Siew Ching, Lahad Datu came second and Nur Kaalishah Md Mazin from SK Pekan, Papar finished third.  The secondary school category was won by Muhammad Yasin Nizamuddin Roslan from SMK Arshad Kota Belud, followed by Donald Stephen from SMK Benoni, Papar in second place and Amnah Noha Sulin from SMK Gadong, Beaufort, in third place.  For the Form Six category, Siti Khadijah Kamarudin from SMK Abdul Rahim from Kudat emerged champion, while Nur Ain Farhana Asrul Syardi from SMK Agama, here, was second and Mohd Zaim Fadil Mohd Jusdi from SMK Agama Mohamad Ali, Ranau, third.  The best orator award went to Nizamuddin Roslan from SMK Arshad, Kota Belud.  Special Tasks Minister Datuk Mohd Arifin Mohd Arif said such achievements by the rural students were something to be proud of.  “This shows that students from rural districts are just as capable of competing against students or participants from urban areas.  “We do want student achievements (of all kinds) to be equally distributed among (both urban and rural) districts,” he told a press conference after officiating the closing and prize awards ceremony of the competition, at the Sabah State Administrative Centre, here, Tuesday.  Arifin said the public speaking competition was organised by his office for the second time in conjunction with Malaysia Day, which saw the participation of 717 students from all over Sabah.  Due to the positive response, Arifin plans to hold the same competition nationally next year and invite the participation of students from other states in Malaysia.  “I am proud of the extraordinary response of our students from
