Kota Kinabalu: Kerosakan kabel bawah tanah milik Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd merupakan punca kepada gangguan bekalan elektrik yang berlaku di Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan Isnin lepas, kata Pengurus Besar Kanan Ir. Mohd Yusmanizam bin Mohd Yusof.
“Kerja-kerja pembaikan terhadap kerosakan yang melibatkan kabel bawah tanah itu memerlukan kepakaran dan kemahiran,” katanya dalam kenyataan media pada Rabu. “Bekalan elektrik hanya berjaya dipulihkan ke beberapa kawasan manakala masih terdapat beberapa kawasan lagi tidak dapat ditenagakan dan memerlukan kerja pembaikan dilaksanakan terlebih dahulu.Pada jam 7.02 malam, lokasi kerosakan kabel bawah tanah berjaya dikenal pasti dan kerja-kerja pembaikan dilaksanakan serta-merta.
