Menurut Safiq, beliau telah didatangi sebuah motosikal yang ditunggang dua lelaki tidak dikenali dan pemboncengnya bertindak mengeluarkan tukul besi sebelum mengetuk bahagian belakang cermin kereta. “Kedua-dua lelaki tersebut meninggalkan tempat kejadian tidak lama kemudian, akibat kejadian ini cermin belakang kereta saya telah pecah,” katanya dalam laporan polis yang dibuatnya selepas insiden itu.
