PETALING JAYA: Kerajaan boleh menangguhkan pelaksanaan rasionalisasi subsidi petrol RON95 bersasar tertakluk kepada dividen yang bakal diberikan Petronas tahun ini, kata Maybank Investment Bank Bhd. .
“Sebarang kekurangan daripada perbelanjaan subsidi boleh ditampung dengan dividen tambahan Petronas berbanding anggaran berjumlah RM32 bilion tahun ini,” katanya dalam nota penyelidikan. “Jika subsidi petrol RON95 yang disasarkan bermula pada 1 Oktober 2024 untuk mendapatkan penjimatan RM4.1 bilion pada suku keempat 2024, harga petrol tersebut perlu dinaikkan sebanyak 65 sen seliter ,” ujarnya.
Tambahnya, reformasi fiskal lain pada tahun ini termasuklah menambah baik kecekapan dan pematuhan sistem percukaian bagi meningkatkan kutipan menerusi pelaksanaan e-invois oleh perniagaan yang dilaksanakan berperingkat bermula 1 Jun lalu.
