KENINGAU: A couple was on Wednesday jailed a total of six years and six months and fined RM26,000 for hurting two boys under their care including using an iron on their bodies last month.

KENINGAU: A couple was on Wednesday jailed a total of six years and six months and fined RM26,000 for hurting two boys under their care including using an iron on their bodies last month.

Magistrate Flavian Edward Henry meted out the sentence to 36-year-old woman and her 27-year-old lover who pleaded guilty to the crimes against the boys, aged 13 and five.The couple committed the offences between March 24 and March 30, this year, between 4pm and 4.10pm in a rented room at a shoplot in town here. * Read full report in tomorrow's print paper or log in or sign up for e-paper and premium online news access.
