Tuaran: Asrama Perempuan St Marianne di Kampung Bantayan, Tamparuli dekat sini, mengalu-alukan pelajar yang memerlukan kemudahan akses ke sekolah berhampiran di daerah ini.

Presiden Rotary Club of Kota Kinabalu South , Carlwin Yee berkata, inisiatif menyediakan asrama dan kenderaan berkenaan bertujuan membantu pelajar perempuan dari keluarga yang kurang berkemampuan selain memastikan generasi baharu mendapat pendidikan lebih selesa dan selamat. Daily Express Malaysia

Katanya, bangunan bertingkat yang dikendalikan biarawati dan Ahli Jawatankuasa gereja berhampiran itu boleh menampung kapasiti sehingga 120 pelajar. “Sejak dibuka tahun lalu, terdapat 27 pelajar perempuan terdiri daripada Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tamparuli dan SMK Sungai Damit, Tuaran yang menginap di asrama ini.
