Katanya, pelantikan Haziq sebagai kakitangan kementeriannya dibuat berdasarkan penilaian dalam soal jawab ketika sesi temuduga, kelayakan akademik serta pengalaman kerja yang dilihat bersesuaian dengan skop tugas ditawarkan.Beliau menyeru semua pihak bertenang dan bersikap “tabayyun”, iaitu menyiasat untuk mencari kebenaran tanpa menuding jari atau menghukum mana-mana pihak terlebih dahulu.
