GUA MUSANG, April 30 — Criminal cases involving Orang Asli in Kelantan are in the isolated category as there were only 10 recorded cases between 2020 and 2022.
“In 2021, there were five cases, two each under Section 457 and Section 378B and one case under Section 323 of the Penal Code, while for 2022, two cases, one each under Section 435 and Section 324 of the Penal Code were recorded,” he told reporters during an Orang Asli community policing programme in Kampung Pasir Linggi, Pos Lebir here today.
“For instance, we look at incest and other sexual offences and we believe victims don’t understand what these crimes are.
