Beliau berkata, ini berikutan terdapat banyak kawasan tanah tinggi dan berbukit sesuai dengan tanaman varieti berkenaan, malah sehingga kini lebih 83 hektar tanaman MD2 diusahakan lebih 100 petani serta pekebun kecil sejak ia diperkenalkan pada 2016.
Beliau berkata, vVarieti nanas itu mampu menghasilkan pendapatan antara RM8,000 hingga RM25,000 bagi setiap hektar jika diusahakan mengikut tanaman betul. "Setakat ini empat kedai diwujudkan iaitu di Kuala Krai, Tanah Merah, Jeli dan Pasir Mas yang merangkumi Rantau Panjang," katanya.
