MALAYSIA will be failing if academic institutions are allowed to be dictated by conservative religious organisations, said P. Ramasamy. “If such an intervention is allowed, it will be a matter of time before differences of ideas and thoughts will be extinguished,” said the Penang deputy chief minister in a statement today.
