KEDAH has declared the flood-hit Yan and Kuala Muda districts level one disaster zones to ensure immediate measures can be undertaken to help the affected people.
“All government agencies and statutory bodies related to disaster operations management are now taking various necessary measures to ensure that the disaster can be dealt with effectively,” Kedah Menteri Besar Muhammad Sanusi Md Nor said in a statement today.
