Genesis Youths of Mercy dari Gereja Kerahiman Ilahi menjalani acara menarik baru-baru ini sebagai persiapan Perayaan Hari Belia Keuskupan Pulau Pinang pada bulan Oktober nanti. Dengan tema, “Kembali ke Masa Depan”, program ini disertai lebih 200 orang belia.
Belia berkongsi pelbagai topik - dari kenangan manis semasa zaman kanakkanak sehinggalah perkongsian jujur mereka tentang bagaimana gereja telah menyakiti mereka. Salah satu sesi menarik dalam program itu ialah “Genesis Lab” yang bermatlamat memperkenalkan kemahiran baharu yang dapat dimanfaatkan oleh belia1. Code Genesis : Pengenalan kepada pengekodan melalui pocket Code. Belia belajar memprogramkan permainan mudah alih pada telefon mereka - yang boleh digunakan sebagai “ice breaker” untuk program-program paroki mereka, diikuti dengan pengekodan aplikasi bacaan Alkitab yang mudah.
