Beliau berkata, tindakan kerajaan Modi pada Ogos lalu merupakan satu pelanggaran perlembagaan India, yang menyatakan bahawa klausa autonomi hanya dapat dimansuhkan oleh dewan perundangan Jammu & Kashmir. India adalah pengimport minyak sawit terbesar dari Malaysia, 28% daripada jumlah eksport minyak sawit. Tahun lepas, India telah membeli hampir RM7 bilion minyak sawit dan produk berasaskan minyak sawit dari Malaysia.
