Karnival Aidilfitri 2019 yang diberi nama Royo Wong Jhowo atau bermaksud Raya Orang Jawa dipilih bagi mengetengahkan kesenian etnik Jawa di Johor yang ditonjolkan menerusi dekorasi dan persembahan pentas berunsurkan etnik berkenaan.
Ketua Pegawai Operasi UDA Angsana Sdn Bhd, Imran Salleh berkata, tahun ini terdapat 500 gerai termasuk 140 gerai yang dibuka di luar bangunan pusat beli-belah, selain lot kedai tetap yang berada dalam premis. Bagi memudahkan pelanggan membeli-belah, susunan gerai jualan dan lot kedai diselaraskan di mana pengunjung boleh terus ke aras satu bagi mendapatkan pelbagai pilihan perhiasan, pakaian di aras dua dan tiga manakala aras empat dan lima untuk barangan kelengkapan dan hiasan rumah.
“Sepanjang bulan Ramadan, kita tahu umat Islam menunaikan solat Tarawih sebab itu kami melanjutkan masa operasi sehingga 12 tengah malam bagi memberi peluang kepada mereka datang membeli-belah selepas selesai solat. Imran berkata, pihaknya sedar menerima tambahan pengunjung setiap Ramadan dan tahun ini menyasarkan antara 4 atau 4.5 juta orang sepanjang karnival.
