Bersatu supreme council leader A Kadir Jasin has provided Bukit Kepong assemblyperson Sahruddin Jamal with a reminder about the Johor palace shortly after he was sworn in as the new state menteri besar.
"But I would like to refresh his memory on the reality that the majority of Johoreans rejected Umno/BN even though the Johor palace was openly siding with them in the general election. "Our neighbouring countries and I believe that if a ship has been sailing fine for many years, but has an issue due to its skipper, do not fix it with a new engine," the prince had said.
Sahruddin was proposed by the Pakatan Harapan top leadership, which was accepted by Johor ruler Sultan Ibrahim Sultan Iskandar.

Couldn't agree more, everything he said is so right and making sense. I Salute to him, Tun M and Tun Daim for being real to the malay community. But, why do all these speeches always turned out to be dispectful or disgrace as claimed by some parties.
Of the 9 states MB job , being Johor's MB is the worst. Arms twisted and pulled from both sides.
Within the next week or two, the new MB must prove that he is not a stooge of the Johor palace.
