JOHOR BAHRU: Situasi banjir di negeri ini menunjukkan perkembangan positif apabila jumlah mangsa banjir terus berkurangan menjadi 1,106 mangsa daripada 305 keluarga setakat pukul 2 petang tadi.
Daerah Mersing antara terjejas akibat banjir sebelum ini pulih sepenuhnya setelah 147 penduduk daripada 38 keluarga pulang ke kediaman masing-masing. “Sejak tengah malam tadi, seramai 275 mangsa banjir daripada 74 keluarga telah pulang ke kediaman masing-masing. Tiga PPS di Mersing yang menempatkan penduduk Kampung Sungai Padang, Kampung Orang Asli Labong dan Kampung Labong turut ditutup sebentar tadi.
Azmi yang juga Pengerusi Jawatankuasa Pengurusan Bencana Negeri berkata, setakat pukul 2 petang ini, jumlah mangsa banjir di Segamat tidak berubah dengan seramai 90 mangsa daripada 27 keluarga di tiga PPS.
