McDonald's Malaysia is gearing up to become the next EV charging destination. With the help of JomCharge, EV charging stations now available at two locations.

Aside from the McDonald’s Pantai Sentral Park Drive-Thru , the charger is also available at the McDonald’s DT branch in Setia Alam. Interestingly enough, both locations feature two different setups.

Over at Pantai Sentral Park, the company behind JomCharge, EV Connection has decided to deploy a single cabinet Kempower DC fast charger . Equipped with two charging connectors, the DCFC can deliver up to 100kW and features dynamic charging capability.On the other hand, the deployment in Setia Alam involved two units of ABB Terra 54 chargers which took over the previous Khind-TGood AC chargers. Each of them has been configured to deliver up to 50kW of energy.

In conjunction with the launch, EV owners can now utilise the newly launched chargers at McDonald’s DT Pantai Sentral Park and Setia Alam for RM1 per kWh. To take advantage of the limited-time promo, you can activate these chargers via the JomCharge mobile app., EV owners can expect to see EV chargers at more McDonald’s locations soon. However, the company did not share the deployment timeline and the list of future locations.
