JOHOR BAHRU: The Johor State Government welcomes the Federal Government's announcement that it has agreed to amend some of the requirements of the Malaysia My Second Home programme.
"A million of thanks also to the Federal Government for the flood aid channelled during the Northeast Monsoon amounting to RM225mil for flood victims and a total of RM1.6bil for the Flood Mitigation Project to reduce the impact of floods in the state. On Thursday , Ahmad Zahid announced the government decided to amend some of the application conditions for Malaysia, My Second Home programme to attract more foreign participants to this country.
In addition, he said the government in collaboration with the Immigration Department would simplify the application where the applicant would get approval after the forms were filled in according to the conditions within three working days.
