The Johor Crown Prince said the decision to set up the task force was made in a meeting on Thursday .
"I had a meeting today with World Health Organisation Science Council member Prof Datuk Dr Adeeba Kamarulzaman and Dr Dhesi Baha Raja. "As a result of the meeting, I decreed for a Special Covid-19 Task Force to be formed at state level in Johor," he said in a statement on Facebook. He said that the task force would comprise several agencies such as the state Health Department, Covid-19 Immunisation Task Force, state government and experts.
"It will be led by me personally to monitor and improve Covid-19 pandemic management in Johor," he added.
