CORONAVIRUS | The decontamination operation will be conducted in stages until April 14 starting with Batu Pahat.

| Public sanitisation or decontamination operation on Covid-19 in all districts in the state will start with Batu Pahat from today until April 14.

“The sanitisation or decontamination operation was carried out yesterday at several targeted locations around Kampung Sinaran Baru, Kempas and six zones in Bandar Baru Simpang Renggam, Kluang. Vidyananthan said the health officer in each district will decide on the locations identified for the public sanitisation exercise especially the areas with the highest number of positive cases as well as locations popular with the people.

“I hope all residents in the areas involved will be calm and cooperate with health personnel as well as adhering all instructions of the authorities,” he said.
