PETALING JAYA: The Barisan Nasional candidate for the Paloh state seat in Johor - Lee Ting Han - will make a difference if given a chance, says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong.

"I believe as someone who is young and well educated, Ah Lee will be able to take Paloh to a higher level if he is given the mandate," said the MCA president.

"I believe the people in Paloh, many of whom are smallholders, were affected when Pakatan Harapan was the government due to commodity prices plummeting," he said when visiting the operations room at the district polling centre in Felda Kahang Barat, Paloh on Friday night. The Transport Minister added it was clear that the Pakatan Harapan government had proven that they were not suitable to run the country, especially in Johor and it was time to give Barisan a chance. The Johor state election is on March 12, with early voting on March 8.
