“Setelah mendapat perkenan Sultan Johor, kerajaan negeri bersetuju untuk menggantikannya dengan cuti gantian pada 20 November ini iaitu Ahad,” katanya menerusi hantaran di Facebook rasmi. Di Kelantan, Menteri Besar Ahmad Yakob berkata keputusan itu dibuat selaras dengan pengumuman Perdana Menteri Ismail Sabri Yaakob pada Isnin lepas yang mengumumkan 18 dan 19 November sebagai hari kelepasan am.
Ahmad berkata perkara berkenaan adalah selaras dengan Pekeliling Perkhidmatan Negeri Bilangan 7 Tahun 1996.
