AMENDMENTS to child protection laws are needed to prevent child abuse cases and to regulate child welfare homes, Johor crown prince Tunku Ismail Sultan Ibrahim said today. Tunku Ismail was commenting on the case of Bella, a teenager with Down syndrome, who was allegedly abused by her caretaker Siti Bainun who runs the welfare home, Rumah Bonda.
