A statement from the Netherlands Public Prosecution Service said this will ensure investigations run parallel with the criminal trial to start today at the Schiphol Judicial Court complex in Badhoevedorp here. The Netherlands has an inquisitorial legal system, where the court, or a part of the court, is actively involved in investigating the facts of the case.
