I feel sorry for Prime Minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad and his government. They face a terrible dilemma: On one hand, they are actively seeking the cooperation of various nations to apprehend fugitive financier Low Taek Jho, better known as Jho Low, and on the other, they are protecting fugitive preacher Zakir Naik who is wanted in India.
Jho Low was charged in absentia in Malaysia over the 1MDB scandal. Almost all the 15 charges are under the Anti-Money Laundering and Anti-Terrorism Financing Act 2001. He has denied the charges. Naik fled to Malaysia and has refused to return to India. The Indian authorities have contacted Malaysia to seek the return of Naik.
I’m puzzled as to why the prime minister said this, for it can be interpreted as Mahathir becoming the spokesman for a fugitive, which, I’m sure, was not his intention. The blame for giving permanent resident status to Naik, despite various allegations against him, rests with the previous Barisan Nasional government. And the headache has now passed over to the Pakatan Harapan government.

Bodo ka fmt
This Zakir Naik, if he is to be allowed to stay here, fine, but don’t allow him to preach. A regular citizen caused public tension often got arrested in the past. Now, why give this foreigner a special privilege?
Ship his ass back. Come back once he is innocent on a tourist visa.
The pain is real
Trueeee
One of them fugitive astray at mystery country and another one from moon and astray are here whats happen until now all mirage .. .
Aaah..It's ok when you do comparative analysis between the two even-though one is a confirmed criminal while the other is not. But when ZN does it, you cry foul.. Your overzealous animosity is the actual root why malay muslims are driving away from supporting PH.
Not a good sign for Malaysia.
Just ignore FMT
chedetofficial shd know as the PM of Malaysia, he is the PM for all the Rakyat of all races and religions but it seems lately he is the PM for Malays and Islam only. As such, he is no longer fit to be the PM and I hope he will pass on his baton and step down with dignity
chedetofficial Government should listen n sensitive to majority of rakyat not to minority who make lots of noise, but no balls to debate with facts. Next elections Good by DAP, who think majority support racist DAP.we support chedetofficial dt why only tis time opposition won
Tats the truth.
Between the two why is Putrajaya extremely so slow in catching JoLo?
Bodoh punya FMT... Woi mata sepet...buat berita tunjukkan kebodohan bangsamu
Aren't we already thinking so....
What's even more annoying than ZN are his gullible and loyal supporters. So easily fooled.
Both are wanted criminals. Both on the run. If as zn claims he's innocent then why not go back to India and place his trust in Allah to prove his innocent. Why hide like the coward he is. Interpol should be calling on him soon. Then by Allah's blessings we'll be rid of that swine
Hidup Zakir Naik, hidup Tun M.
tetiba kait dgn jho low, punyalah nak tunjuk zakir naik ni jahat, dah takde modal fmt ni
Shame on you FMT for flaming the public in such a trivial issue and putting the two in comparison to each other. Low level journalism sugar coated.
Dr Zakir Naik ought to sue FMT for continuously instigating hatred and wrongful accusation/defamation.
Btwn d 2, d 1 that is adding fuel 2 burn our fragile unity btwn races is right here, a foreigner, & seen 2b condoned by d leaders that d rkyat had voted strongly on.
