Star President Datuk Seri Dr Jeffrey Kitingan, on Monday, confirmed that the party has left Perikatan Nasional (PN).

KOTA KINABALU: . However, Jeffrey who is also Deputy Chief Minister said, an announcement about it will be made soon.

Star was previously a component party of PN, a coalition led by Bersatu President Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin since the 16th State Election in 2020.By leaving PN, Star is now only a member of Gabungan Rakyat Sabah together with Sabah Bersatu, PBS, SAPP and Usno.GRS now supports the Unity Government led by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
