ISKANDAR PUTERI: Malaysia's biggest football club, Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT), has recorded RM35mil in losses this year due to Covid-19.

The club’s owner Tunku Mahkota Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim said at the present moment, he was grateful and satisfied with the achievements of the Southern Tigers in 2020 after winning their seventh Malaysian Super League title in a row as well as the Charity Shield.

“The club has lost at least RM35mil but I hope that in 2021, God willing, the economy will recover and we would be able to get back what we lost within the next one or two years, ” he added. He, however, downplayed the matter, saying JDT was still on track to achieve its RM1bil worth by next year.

So? big deal

No surprise

Oh no .... all lost

Wow.... That's a lot of money

I don't think any other state or club has so much money to shrug off a RM35 mil loss. Puts in perspective their achievements compared to the rest. Our very own Manchester City.

Everyone and all companies lose except some make more like the undertakers and PPE suppliers. Expecting so many companies to call it a day if prolong shutdown. Let all buz going with better enforcement of SOP in crowded public areas and politician pls, You also must follow SOP.

Sir: With COVID-19 around, please put the soccer club in the STOREROOM and help the people....

He looks so fit now. 💪
