KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 24 — Non-governmental organisation Food Aid Foundation recently received a food truck and caravan from the Japan Embassy in Kuala Lumpur for its humanitarian efforts. The newly-procured mobile unit will facilitate the distribution of surplus food and prepared meals for the B40 communities in the Klang Valley.

The foundation said that the realisation of its mission would not have been feasible without the support of esteemed entities such as the Japan Embassy. “The Embassy’s resolute dedication to grassroots projects, coupled with its pronounced focus on human security, stands as a testament to its commitment to effecting positive change within communities worldwide.”

The GGP represents a financial aid program designed to empower a diverse array of community-based organisations operating at the grassroots level with the overarching aim of ensuring and enhancing human security in fields such as healthcare, education, and the environment.
