A visitor from the central Chinese city of Wuhan has been hospitalis ed in Tokyo after the second pneumonia case caused by the potentially deadly virus was confirmed.
However, after a persistent fever and a sore throat, the man visited the hospital again on Wednesday and was diagnosed with pneumonia this time, the health ministry said. Last week, Japan confirmed the first case of the new virus when a Chinese national who lives in Kangawa prefecture near Tokyo tested positive after visiting Wuhan in early January.
