Menteri Besar Amirudin Shari, berkata pada PRN lalu ramai berpandangan Selangor “pasti menang” menjadikan keyakinan itu penyumbang ramai tidak keluar mengundi. “Kerusi yang kalah dengan majoriti tipis di bawah 1,000 undi itu melibatkan kerusi Dewan Undangan Negeri Dengkil yang kalah dengan 400 undi, Taman Medan , Gombak Setia , dan Sungai Kandis .
Amirudin berkata, andai peratusan keluar mengundi naik hanya 0.5%, empat kerusi itu dipercayai dapat ditawan sekali gus mengesahkan majoriti dua pertiga.
